March 17, 2008 - Keane Signs MoU with Kalasalingam University
Bangalore, Monday, March 17, 2008 -- Keane, Inc., a $1 billion-plus global services firm that specializes in enabling transformation of its clients' business and IT functions has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kalasalingam University situated near Madurai, Tamil Nadu. The MOU highlights various areas of collaboration that would help enhance industry academia partnership. Keane and Kalasalingam University have planned various activities in the next one year to enable better employability of students. Kalasalingam University is one of the 30 institutions where Keane has a Platinum level partnership. Keane had incorporated an Industry Academia partnership program called ‘Keane Adept’ in October 2007. Keane Adept had further classified the colleges based into three main categories - Platinum, Gold and Silver-level partnership. Vice-Chancellor - Dr. C Thangaraj, Kalasalingam University and Mr. Srikanth Rao – President, Keane (India Operations), signed the MOU on 17th March at the Keane Bangalore facilities. “Keane has been actively working with its Platinum level partners in the education circle to bridge the gap of the academia with the industry.
