December 20, 2007 - Keane Wins Offshore Partnership With Travis Perkins

SAN RAMON, CA and CHENNAI, INDIA – December 20, 2007 – Keane Inc., a $1 billion-plus global services firm that specializes in enabling transformation of its clients’ business and IT functions, announced that it has won a new outsourcing deal from Travis Perkins, a leading company in the UK Builders' Merchanting and Home Improvement markets. The project began on 03 September 2007 and Keane has already shown progress based on milestones committed to Travis Perkins.

As part of the contract, Keane will be provide systems development and maintenance services for the EPOS systems used in Travis Perkins’ builders’ merchanting operations, using its on-site/offshore model.

Travis Perkins chose to partner with Keane after a three-month long competitive selection process that included four other potential partnership companies in India.

This new facility will help Travis Perkins to further strengthen its IT capability by widening the recruitment pool of software developers available to the Group.
