Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading-Edge Solutions (EAGLE)

Contract Number: HSHQDC-06-D-00025
Contract Name Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading-Edge Solutions (EAGLE)
Period of Performance 06/28/2006 - 06/28/2013
Description The Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading-Edge Solutions (EAGLE) is a multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle, designed as the preferred source of information technology (IT) services for the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) enterprise infrastructure and initiatives. DHS Components that use another federal agency to provide contracting support services may delegate procurement authority to allow the use of the EAGLE contracts on the Component’s behalf. DHS awarded one of the EAGLE contracts to Keane Federal Systems in Functional Category 3, Independent Verification and Validation Services. Our approach includes a “strategy” component that helps government agencies become more proactive. Accordingly, they’re able to increase the efficiency of their software testing, project assurance, and quality assurance dollars while improving their effectiveness – thereby mitigating risk and driving program and mission success. In addition to FC3, Keane, in conjunction with its partners, is able to offer services across the other four functional categories of EAGLE.
Services Keane Offers Functional Category 3 - Independent Validation and Verification (IV&V). Provides a full range of independent test, validation, verification, and evaluation solutions to ensure that all IT products and services meet DHS standards and are performing to defined design, cost, schedule, and performance specifications/capabilities. Offers best practices, technologies, tools, and support to quality and operational assessments, integration testing and system test and evaluation, including security certification and accreditation, for IT systems. Also, provides independent verification and validation through the monitoring and evaluation of projects through activities such as, but not limited to, assessments, process and procedure audits, project and performance management, and systems analysis and design.
