On March 24th, 2010, Keane, Inc. (“Keane”) acquired all of the outstanding shares of CyberFicient Technologies, Inc. (“CyFi Tech”). CyFi Tech has been renamed to Keane Texas, Inc. (“Keane Texas”) and all related contracts with Cyfi Tech now operate under the management of Keane Texas.

Deliverables-based Information Technology Services (“DBITS”)

Contract Name Deliverables-based Information Technology Services (“DBITS”)
Description This GoDIRect Program allows customers to purchase items directly from a DIR-contracted vendor. Customers contact the vendor for product and pricing information. They also send their purchase orders, with the DIR contract number, and payments directly to the GoDIRect vendor, not to DIR. This streamlines the order process so customers receive their products/services quickly. DBITS is a GoDIRect contract, so you can go directly to us for your turn-key projects!

How the program works:
  1. A customer identifies a need for deliverables-based services within one of the Deliverables-Based IT Services Contracts Technology Categories.

  2. The Customer drafts a Statement of Work using the DIR DBITS template.

  3. The Customer sends the Statement of Work to one or more DBITS Vendors for that Technology Category.

  4. The Vendors submit a Response to the Statement of Work with fixed prices based on deliverables.

  5. Once the Customer selects the Vendor, they simply issue a Purchase Order to the Vendor referencing the DBITS contract number and the project can begin upon acceptance of the Purchase Order.

The value of any one Statement of Work may not exceed $10 million, including all renewals, extensions and change orders. Each Statement of Work will describe the deliverables, the acceptance criteria for the deliverables and the service levels.

Description For six years, Keane Texas has been placing consultants on customer projects through the DIR Information Technology Staff Augmentation Contract (ITSAC) program and the former staff augmentation ITSAC replaced. Due to our excellence in providing highly satisfactory resources, a recent DIR performance rating placed us in the 99.9 percentile for all ITSAC vendors.
