Keane Appoints Former ACS Federal Executive to Public Sector Helm

Timothy Conway Accepts Post as Executive Vice President of U.S. Public Sector
Boston – June 7, 2010 - Keane Inc., a U.S.-based IT services firm, today announced it has appointed Timothy Conway as executive vice president of its public sector business unit. In his new role, Mr. Conway will oversee all of Keane’s U.S. government business, which serves public sector organizations at the Federal, State and Local level, as well public and private universities.
“Tim is a seasoned professional who has spent his entire career in the public services segment working with an impressive list of government agencies,” said John McCain, president and CEO of Keane. “We are excited to have him on board, as his pedigree will be invaluable to Keane’s mission to expand into new geographies and sectors.”
Since 2007, Mr. Conway has been the senior managing director of Federal Solutions, a 3,000 person government solutions group within Affiliated Computer Services (ACS), Inc., a Xerox company. His client relationships with the Federal Government include the Departments of Agriculture, Defense, Education, Homeland Security, Labor, State and Treasury; along with the Social Security Administration, Environmental Protection Agency and Veterans Affairs.
After starting his career at Public Service Electric and Gas Company (NYSE: PEG) in New Jersey, Mr. Conway worked at Lockheed Martin Federal Systems and then spent just over 10 years as a Public Sector executive with IBM, where he was responsible for sales, client management, practice, and program management activities.
