Keane Completes Acquisition of Certain BearingPoint Local Government Practices

Boston, MA – July 13, 2009 - Keane, Inc., a global services firm that specializes in optimizing businesses’ IT investments, has announced the completion of its’ purchase of portions of the BearingPoint state and local government business, which includes BearingPoint’s New York City practice.

As part of the acquisition, Keane will acquire the New York City Practice from BearingPoint which brings approximately 30 professionals spanning numerous contracts within various New York City governmental entities.
