Middle East company recognizes Keane for its outstanding support during recent
SAP implementation
Boston, MA – April 14, 2010 - Keane, Inc., a U.S.-based IT services firm that helps clients realize the greatest value from their IT, today announced it has received the Jaleel Holdings 2009 IT Partner of the Year Award. Jaleel Holdings, a leading wholesale player in the Middle East, honored Keane with this award because of the company’s outstanding support in enabling business transformation through a recent SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation.
“We recognized Keane for its help with our SAP ERP implementation, which enabled us to achieve process standardization, productivity and customer satisfaction,” said Sameer K. Mohamad, managing director at Jaleel. “Additionally, the implementation helped our company reduce inventory holdings and increase product range, bringing in transparency throughout the organization.”
Keane's implementation covers Jaleel’s core ERP processes across finance, supply chain, human capital and business intelligence, as well as integration with their Retail Point of Sale solution and van sales solution. Keane was one of five partners recognized for excellence in the Brand/Product promotion category during Jaleel Holding’s Annual Partner Meet & Wholesale Point Product Catalogue Launch. Over 200 Fast Moving Consumer Goods suppliers (FMCG) attended the function, which was chaired by the Assistant Director General of the Dubai Municipality and included representatives from each of the suppliers.
