Keane Appoints Former General Electric Executive to Financial Helm

David Kaminsky Appointed Chief Financial Officer

Boston, MA – December 16, 2009 - Keane a U.S.-based IT services firm that helps clients realize the greatest value from their IT, today announced that it has appointed David Kaminsky as its executive vice president and chief financial officer.

“David is a hands-on, energetic leader with expertise in day-to-day finance operations, particularly in the IT services business, which is important at this stage of our growth,” said John McCain, president and CEO of Keane. “His proven track record of successfully working within large, complex, multi-national organizations will be invaluable to Keane.”

Since 2005, Mr. Kaminsky has been CFO of Altegrity, which provides comprehensive security-based solutions to government and law enforcement agencies, including pre-employment screening and industry specific analytics applications. 

After starting his career at Peat Marwick, Mr. Kaminsky has led a number of finance groups with impressive results.  In 1994 he joined General Electric working with GE Capital.  He later became CFO of GE’s IT Global Managed Services business and later become the CFO for the entire European Hardware and Services Business.  Mr. Kaminsky also served as CFO of other GE divisions including GE North America Leasing, and GE Commercial Distribution Finance.  During his last years at GE, he twice earned the President’s Award for outstanding performance.

After serving as Keane’s CFO during the critical post-merger years, Ed Timmes will be leaving Keane to return to the New York, New Jersey market to dedicate his time towards the financial consulting business he founded.
