News Release: Keane Appoints Industry Veteran to Command IT Leadership

Former BearingPoint Managing Director Thomas S. Gary Promoted to Chief Information Officer
Boston, MA – November 20, 2009 - Keane, a U.S.-based IT services firm that helps clients realize the greatest value from their IT investments, today announced it has appointed Thomas S. Gary, former senior vice president of Global Delivery, to the position of chief information officer. In his new role, Mr. Gary will be based at the Company’s headquarters in Boston.
Mr. Gary is an accomplished leader with experience in management consulting, complex project management, computer systems development and integration and advisory services. He joined Keane in July 2009 as a senior vice president in Global Delivery after BearingPoint dissolved operations and sold parts of its business to Keane. While at BearingPoint, he led the organization’s Business Systems Integration practice for commercial services in the Americas and co-led the initial development and launch of offshore development centers in China and India. Mr. Gary was instrumental in creating the BearingPoint AnyShoreSM solution, assuring a consistent global delivery model.
Mr. Gary has also held multiple operational roles in his 25 years in the industry that focused on driving solution development and leading business systems integrations practices with specific strength in offshore advisory and technology delivery. He has a strong track record of executing complex projects across multiple industries that include financial services, healthcare, insurance, cable and telecommunications. He is a member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, the uniformed civilian volunteer arm of the Coast Guard. He is currently serving a three year assignment as a member of the Commandant’s Diversity Advisory Council.
