Keane, Inc. Extends Contract with Pegasus Solutions

Keane Renews Data Management Services Contract for Three Years to Assist World’s Leading Provider of Hospitality Technology and Services in Delivering Outstanding Customer Service and Data Support

Boston, MA – June 21, 2010 - Keane a U.S.-based IT services firm, today announced a three-year contract renewal with Pegasus Solutions, the world’s leading provider of central reservation systems and support, electronic hotel distribution, hotel representation and agency commission processing.  The extension continues an original engagement from 2007 and includes the maintenance of reservation, rate and content data for Pegasus’ nearly 100,000 global customers. 

Hotel companies today are increasingly challenged to maintain accurate, detailed records about inventory, rates and availability across a growing number of electronic distribution channels.  With its global customer base, Pegasus’ data services department and related call center operations manage real-time data from multiple sources within its central reservation and distribution systems.

Under the terms of the extended contract, Keane will continue to provide Pegasus with a complete, cost-effective data management solution that includes service-level based delivery and ownership of operating unit outcomes.  A multi-shift operating model is in place to promptly service customer requests and compress processing cycle times, and a global delivery model that blends an offshore team with veteran resources acquired from the client helps to drive cost savings and processing efficiencies with a solid operations governance structure.
