Keane Among GSA Alliant Contract Winners

San Francisco, CA — April 29, 2009 - Keane, Inc., a global services firm that specializes in optimizing businesses Information Technology (IT) investments, today announced that it has been named among the General Services Administration (GSA) Alliant Government Wide Acquisition Contract winners, the largest government-wide IT services contract ever awarded by the GSA.
Keane is among 59 award winners and will have the opportunity to compete on task orders for integrated IT solutions. The contract is valued up to $50 billion over a five-year period and can be renewed for an additional five years. It contains three major components: Infrastructure, Application Services, and IT Management.
The GSA Alliant Program provides IT solutions that support Federal government operational requirements for standardized technology and application service components. Alliant facilitates integration requirements for broad Federal IT and E-Gov initiatives, as well as promotes the sharing, consolidation, and re-use of business processes and systems across the federal government.
