Amir Durrani
Executive Vice President, APAC

Amir Durrani is executive vice president for Keane’s APAC region which includes India, Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand. Mr. Durrani also has oversight for Keane Australia Micropayment Consortium (Kamco), which is delivering a $500 million new ticketing solution for the Transport Ticketing Authority and the state of Victoria, Australia.
Mr. Durrani has more than 20 years of experience in the US IT industry, with leadership roles in software development and consulting lifecycles. He started his career with Aspen Technology as a programmer and soon developed client management and delivery skills. Prior to leaving Aspen Technology, Mr. Durrani was the product manager for Aspen Technology’s flagship product, which had more than 3,000 customers around the world.
Most recently, he successfully led Keane’s European business focusing on building a foundation for operational growth and profitability.
Mr. Durrani joined Caritor in 1999 as a project manager in the Boston office. He grew into the role of regional manager and was instrumental in growing Caritor’s business in Boston to $11M. Mr. Durrani went on to manage all client management activities in North America and was successful at growing the business by 20%.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Massachusetts and his master’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota.
